Description

The Shirred Bishop Tutorial is a tutorial designed to be used in conjunction with a Bishop Pattern. It describes the steps taken to alter your existing bishop pattern, cut out the new dress pieces, as well as shirr and construct the dress. The tutorial assumes a basic knowledge of sewing and a sewing machine. This tutorial also assumes that you have a bishop pattern.

This is a downloadable .pdf tutorial. It can be downloaded up to six times and is intended for personal use only. I do not offer returns or exchanges but will do my best to resolve any issues. Please contact me if you have any questions at dressthemdearly@gmail.com!

If you need a good video on how to shirr, particularly on shirring using a machine with a top loading bobbin, I find this tutorial to be very helpful.

This tutorial was such a blessing to me. I have four granddaughters and was able to make a shirred bishop for all of them. The instructions were so clear and easy to follow. I have plans for Christmas dresses with long sleeves and beautiful Christmas material. Thank you sweet friend for proving this tutorial. It made all my girls so happy!
