Happy Easter Friends!! What a fantastic one it is. The kids are all healthy and thriving and most importantly (kidding) still enjoying my hand sewn creations. This year, I got brave and even made a dress for myself. Here are alllll the details!
My dress is a Burda 6023 in a rayon from Farmhouse Fabrics. This fabric feels like a cloud. I can’t get over how comfortable this dress was! I love the tulip print and the colors are perfection!
Maria is wearing her Easter dress from last year. She absolutely loves this dress and requested to wear it again. I used an ivory Swiss dot and ecru lace to create this dress. Her slip is a beautiful light pink shade for this dress. I love the way it adds just a touch of subtle pink. You can find more details and links for supplies here. Her shoes are these, I was really happy with how well they coordinated.
The boys are each wearing Children’s Corner Parkers Pants (shorts) in imperial broadcloth. I lined the shorts fully and was very happy with the result. Their shirts are a Children’s Corner Alex shirt. I completed the 21 pin tucks prior to cutting the pattern out. I piped the ivory satin batiste shirts in the same imperial broadcloth as the shorts.
Easter sewing is my absolute favorite sewing. I hope you all enjoyed it this year as much as I did 🙂
